Revco Solar is offering a Post-Storm Thermal System Safety Check designed to verify critical mounting points and roof penetrations.
Inspection & Verification
- Visual inspection of roof PVC supports
- Inspection of panel mounting brackets and stainless steel straps
- Identification of loose or stressed attachments
- Visual inspection of roof penetrations associated with the thermal system
Minor Adjustments & Documentation
- Minor tightening of accessible hardware
- Minor resealing if visual inspection indicates sealant deterioration
- Photo documentation
- Review of findings and professional recommendations
If minor strap, mounting hardware, or penetration resealing repairs are needed, they can often be completed during the same visit. Our service trucks are fully stocked, helping avoid return trips or delays when repairs are straightforward and approved.
Additional labor (if approved) is billed in 15-minute increments. Materials are billed at time of installation.

High winds can stress roof-mounted thermal systems. Straps, mounting hardware, or PVC supports may loosen, and sealant around roof penetrations may show signs of wear. A post-storm inspection helps identify minor issues early—before they develop into larger concerns.
What does the safety check include?
The service includes up to 30 minutes onsite and covers:
- Visual inspection of roof PVC supports
- Inspection of panel mounting brackets and stainless steel straps
- Identification of loose or stressed attachments
- Minor tightening of accessible hardware
- Visual inspection of roof penetrations associated with the thermal system
- Minor resealing of penetrations if sealant deterioration is visually indicated
- Photo documentation
- Review of findings and recommendations
Can repairs be completed during the same visit?
Yes. Minor strap, mounting hardware, or penetration resealing repairs can often be completed during the same visit when approved. Revco service trucks are fully stocked to help avoid return trips or callbacks for straightforward repairs.
What is not included in this service?
This safety check does not include:
- Full system servicing or troubleshooting
- Leak detection or roof repair beyond minor resealing
- Panel removal, reconfiguration, or re-leveling
- Replacement of major components
- Performance diagnostics or controller checks
If more extensive work is identified, a separate service recommendation or estimate will be provided.
How much does the Post-Storm Safety Check cost?
Orange County: $149 • All other service areas: $169 (includes the initial 30-minute inspection).
What if additional time is needed?
If work beyond the initial 30 minutes is requested or required:
- Additional labor is billed in 15-minute increments
- All additional work requires customer approval
- Materials are billed at time of installation
Is this service available for commercial or HOA systems?
No. Promotional pricing is for residential pool thermal solar systems only. Commercial properties and HOA-managed systems are excluded and may call for customized options and pricing.
Is this a replacement for a full system service?
No. This is a limited post-storm safety inspection focused on mounting hardware and roof penetrations. It does not replace preventative maintenance or full system service.
